These terms govern every research search purchased through this site.
1. The service
Ami provides an AI-assisted search of federal, tribal, and other public records for the family line you describe, reviewed by our professionals. Your search delivers our report: what the records contain for your line, a pedigree chart, copies of or references to the public records we relied on, and clear guidance on where and how to take the next step, such as an enrollment or benefits inquiry. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with or endorsed by any tribal nation, government agency, or enrollment office. Tribal nations alone determine enrollment, and nothing we provide guarantees or influences any enrollment or benefits decision.
2. No guarantee of findings
Research findings cannot be guaranteed. Records may be missing, incomplete, or may never have existed for your line. We promise the search itself and an honest report of what the records say, whatever that is. A report finding no supporting records is a completed search.
3. Timing
Replies may take up to twelve (12) business days, and completed research and delivery may take up to sixty (60) business days from payment. Any estimate we give is an estimate only and may change as the search proceeds.
4. Payment; all sales final
The fee is a flat $249.00 (USD) per search, payable in advance, and is earned in full when work commences, which begins immediately upon payment. All sales are final. No refunds, credits, or cancellations are provided except where required by applicable law. You agree not to dispute or reverse the charge except for genuine fraud or a duplicate charge, and you remain responsible for the fee and our reasonable costs for any improper dispute. Free-review requests are never charged.
5. Your responsibilities and privacy
The information you provide must be complete and accurate to the best of your knowledge, and you agree to respond to reasonable questions from our professionals. The search is only as good as what you give us. Your information is used only to perform your search and communicate with you about it; we do not sell it.
6. Your use; liability
Any use you make of the report is your own, and we make no representation that any nation, agency, or office will accept or act on it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fee you paid, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
7. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Ami's operator is based. Any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the American Arbitration Association's consumer rules, or in small claims court if the claim qualifies. You waive any jury trial and any class, collective, or representative action.
